A commercial building near Bradford city centre was engulfed in flames on Christmas Eve, a fire service has said.
West Yorkshire Fire Service said that 10 crews – made up of more than 50 firefighters – tackled the blaze close to the junction of Thornton Road and Preston Street.
The blaze – about half a mile from the city centre – was eventually contained by the crew with the help of eight large jets.
Firefighters stayed on the scene until Christmas morning, when they set about tackling the seat of the fire.
Police closed Thornton Road while the crews fought the blaze, which broke out late in the afternoon.
