Firefighters remain at the scene of a major blaze at a popular Chinese restaurant in Derry city centre.
Over 50 firefighters are tackling the blaze at the Mandarin Palace at Queens’s Quay.
An aerial ladder platform is being used to bring the blaze under control.
The blaze is believed to have started in the kitchen of the restaurant.
Adjoining buildings have been evacuated.
Householders and businesses in the area have been advised to keep their windows closed because of heavy smoke.
