The BIFM has enlisted the help of the broadcasting experts at ITN productions to create online video content for the facilities management industry.
FM TV aims to demonstrate the crucial roles FM professionals play in efforts to boost the UK economy and providing important services to businesses and to society in general.
ITN newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky hosts the first one-hour show and speaks to the chairwoman and CEO of BIFM, Julie Kortens and Gareth Tancred.
FM TV debuted at the organisation’s ThinkFM conference in London last month and the show also included FM-orientated features involving companies like Xenon, RBS and EIC.
The idea of FM TV is to put the profession in the spotlight for a wider audience and future programmes are expected to see Natasha interviewing the CEO of CIPD Peter Cheese, the BIFM’s FM of the Year Deborah Rowland and the commercial director of the BBC, Chris Kane.
